The Service Division operates as two distinct teams, a North, and a South team, each having their own management.  Barossa based staff are integrated with our Northern team and their region of service extends from Gawler through to Whyalla.

Our clients can be assured that the level of technical and safety training provided by Air Comfort Services to our staff, meets at minimum, all requirements in both technical and safety areas.

All staff will be appropriately trained and licensed for the level of work that they would be undertaking. Staff are not permitted to undertake work outside of their licensing, qualifications or competency.

Air Comfort Services places a high priority on prompt breakdown attendance in the event of any plant failure. We have a sophisticated job allocation system which takes into account the client’s business; availability of the regular technician; work location; job difficulty and urgency – with immediate response to critical areas being a priority.  The daily climatic conditions are an influence; however contract clients are always given priority.

We only utilise staff with the skills and qualifications appropriate to the work being undertaken.  Generally, the majority of work is undertaken by our experienced Refrigeration Technicians, at times accompanied by an experienced Trade Assistant or Apprentice to assist with lifting, fitting parts and cleaning filters etc.  In some cases (e.g. water treatment or boiler servicing), an outside expert is contracted to ensure that all requirements are met.

In any instance where a complex or technical difficulty arises, our technicians have access to: Team Leaders who have excellent proven technical skills; Management Staff, with Refrigeration, Safety and Management qualifications; Contracting Project Management Staff who can assist with queries including technical, installation and commissioning data; and System experts, such as suppliers.

The type of training undertaken can include formal technical training both on-the-job and at our premises, small group WHS training sessions, and informal individual training and mentoring.
